Price: $150 standalone; both insurance reports together $250. With a full inspection: $100 each or $150 for both. View pricing.

WHAT IS REVIEWED

What we review

Roof

Visible roof condition and available age information are documented as required by the reporting scope.

Electrical and plumbing

Accessible panels, visible wiring and piping, equipment, and observed concerns are reviewed for the requested report.

Heating and cooling

Accessible HVAC equipment and observable condition are documented along with the information required by the carrier's form.

What to know about the scope

A 4-point is not a substitute for a full home inspection and does not guarantee policy approval, coverage, or a particular premium.

BEFORE THE VISIT

Before your inspection

  • Send the insurance agent's form or specific instructions.
  • Have available roof, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC replacement records ready.
  • Arrange safe access to the relevant systems.

ALL QUESTIONS WELCOME

4-Point Inspection
QUESTIONS, ANSWERED.

Do I need both a 4-point and wind mitigation inspection?

Your insurance agent can confirm. A 4-point documents major-system condition; wind mitigation documents supported wind-resistant features. They can be requested for the same visit.

Can a home fail a 4-point inspection?

The inspector records observed conditions. The insurer applies its own eligibility requirements and may request repairs or additional information.

Does the report cover the whole home?

No. It focuses on four systems for an insurance purpose. A buyer wanting a broader condition review should also consider a residential home inspection.
